Katerina is a second-year medical student at the University of Ottawa. Before starting medical school, Katerina completed her first three years at McGill University in Neuroscience. During her undergraduate studies, she worked at the Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital, the National Research Council of Canada, and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
Currently in the Lochmüller Lab, Katerina is working with optogenetic zebrafish models for novel gene discovery in congenital myasthenic syndromes.
