Isabelle worked as a clinical evaluator for various neuromuscular disease trials with Dr. Hanns Lochmüller at CHEO and The Ottawa Hospital from 2019-2022. In February 2022, she joined The Ottawa Hospital as a clinical research coordinator. She now works as a physiotherapist at Centre d’hébergement et de soins de longue durée (CHSLD) La Pietà in Gatineau, Quebec.
Isabelle completed her bachelor’s degree and her master’s degree in Physiotherapy from McGill University, with her master’s degree in Physiotherapy offered by extension at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi in 2018. She is currently finishing a master’s degree in research at the University of Sherbrooke under Drs. Mélanie Morin and Cynthia Gagnon. Her research interests lie in pelvic floor rehabilitation, sexuality, physiotherapy, urogynecological and anorectal dysfunction in neuromuscular diseases.
