Rohan Ray is a 4th year student in Translational and Molecular Medicine.
Past Experience
Before working with the Lochmuller Lab, Rohan conducted motor learning research with Dr. Diane Ste-Marie for his UROP scholarship. Rohan also had the opportunity to work in the lab of Dr. Adam Rudner, attempting to further understand superinfection immunity in bacteriophages. Rohan also isolated his own A.globiformis bacteriophage (check out phage Phrustrated on PhagesDB.com), and was a part of the uOttawa BioGenie project Analysis of COVID-19 Diagnostic Methods.
Outside of the Lab
Rohan is a member of the varsity rugby team at uOttawa, and has had the opportunity to represent Canada internationally in the sport of Kickboxing!
