Tamara currently coordinates academic studies for Dr. Lochmüller, including patient registries and natural history studies. She earned her BSc in biomedical sciences from the University of Ottawa, with research activities in oncolytic viruses and chemotherapy resistance. Prior to joining Dr. Lochmüller’s team, Tamara worked as a clinical research assistant with Care4Rare Canada where she consented patients to research studies and supported clinical activities in the CHEO genetics clinic. She is passionate about improving our understanding of rare genetic diseases.
