PhD completion – Congratulations!

Congratulations to our two graduate students Dr. Stephen Holland and Dr. Malaichamy Sivasankar on the successful defense of their PhD dissertations!

Stephen successfully defended his PhD thesis titled “Understanding the consequences of Glutamine-fructose-6-phosphate transaminase 1 (GFTP1) role in Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome (CMS) and elucidating new therapeutic strategies” on June 11th

Soon after, Malaichamy successfully defended his PhD thesis titled “Solving Undiagnosed Neuromuscular Disorders: Uncovering Causative Genotypes Beyond Known Genes and Beyond the Exome” on August 19th.

This milestone is a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and years of hard work, as well as their valuable contributions to research and scholarship. We are proud of their accomplishments and grateful for the impact they have made within our group. We wish them every success as they begin the next chapter of their careers and look forward to seeing all they will achieve in the future.

Congratulations!
